After a very indulgent Christmas lunch in Dubai with the girls (made by yours truly, and it featured halal chickens stuffed with bacon..very ironic and delicious!), it was time for a bath and very early night for my 3am wake up; for my flight to Düsseldorf. As always, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I had high hopes! Düsseldorf wasn’t what I had puctured, but it didn’t dissapoint either!
Due to the time of year everything was closed, but we managed to brave the freezing temperatures for a couple of hours to find a floating bar and the Christmas market! After a bratwurst, hot chocolate and some food shopping, it was time for some sleeping and blogging! I was hoping for snow, but isn’t until we left the next day that a blizzard began! After de- icing the aircraft, we were off! I was in the galley, so the flight went by in the blink of an eye, and before I knew it I was collapsing in bed for my minimum rest before my next flight, Paris with my good friend and fellow blogger, a Rachel! I’ve been busy on holidays for the past few weeks in Canada, but once things have quietened down I’ll be posting more often again! Hope you all had a lovely festive season! X
