  1. Hello! Firtsly I really love your blog. It’s very unique and different to other blogs I’ve seen. I really like that you put some effort in the background style! Please don’t stop blogging no matter how busy you are ;). I have a question regarding your earnings and what you spend as a cabin crew. I just wonder if you earn 1800 Euros a month and get spending money more than half of that month when you’re away flying, is it realistic to say that you could easily save 1000 Euro a month? I would really like to save up some money while working to pay for university tuition afterwards… I feel like most EK cabin crew don’t really think about saving a lot of money but could you save money easily and still go out every once in a while?

    • Hi Melody, thanks for reading! As you can imagine I don’t really feel comfortable discussing my finances on the internet. But I will say that it is difficult to save in your probation period as we are paid monthly for the previous month’s hours. So when you start flying you aren’t paid until a couple of months later, and some is taken off for incidentals such as advances, insurance and miscellaneous items. I think that it depends on the person and their living expenses and habits regarding saving. It is possible to go out and save, it just depends where you go and what you do!
